I have seen…

IMG_0570.JPG          Spider’s web, so delicate..

www.marionbell.com/i-have-seen

This is my thoughts for Wednesday November 6th…

I have seen, the dew on the spider’s web on a cold crisp morning in October… I have seen the fields covered with fog, and the fog hanging on the trees.. This beauty of paradise right before my eyes.. I have walked those fields behind the plow.. I have seen boulders of all sizes, as my horse trudges along dragging the plow behind.. I have seen the wheat grow tall and fall in the winds that blow.. I have seen the trees with fruit for all to eat… I have seen the corn so tall that you can not see above it.. I have seen the bounty in the fall, as the leave turn colors from green to gold… I have seen the call of the wolf in the cold of a December night… I have heard the wind howl out my name in the darkness.. I have been here before…

DSCN2652 (3).JPG           Sister and brother…

I have seen the smile of a child and the love he has for his sister.. I have seen the interaction between a sister and brother… I have seen their joy.. I have seen a mother’s love, as she holds her child close.. I have witnessed the strong hands of a father gently leading his child through life.. I have seen the child tumble and fall, as it’s tiny feet take their first tiny steps.. I have seen the child grow tall and strong, as they grow older… I have seen a family hold their lives together as one.. I have witnessed the end of a life, as age takes them away… I have seen a son hold his father’s hand for the last time.. I have know the memories left behind… I have seen a new life being born, as an elder leaves this earth… I have seen….

DSCN1489.JPG             The moon behind the trees…

I have seen the darkness fall, as the moon peaks from behind the trees.. I have witnessed the rivers flowing to the seas, and the bubbling water from the ground… I have been in crowds of people who pass me by.. I have seen friends come and go in the blink of an eye.. I have seen the horses run free, and the whales travel the oceans blue.. I have held the sun in the palm of my hand.. I have howled loudly at the moon, as I see the sunrise come.. I have walked this planet from end to end, and still I wonder far and wide.. I have seen the unknow, I have faced the devil and held God’s hand.. I have given my heart to one man to protect forever… I have seen the world begin and I will seen the world end.. For I will see…

Pumpkin patch

DSCN2598 (2).JPG       We followed behind a long line of many others, as we entered the Pumpkin Patch..

www.marionbell.com/pumpkin-patch

This is my tale of a day in the pumpkin patch for Monday October 21st…

DSCN2599 (2).JPGThe day was one of those beauty days we dream about in the fall.. The line to gain entrance to the pumpkin patch was long, but moved quickly.. The sea gulls could be seen against the blue sky, as they circled for any scraps of food they could find..

DSCN2601 (2).JPG       We passed sheep, goats and a Jersey cow.. There was chickens, ducks, geese and various other farm animals..

DSCN2609 (2).JPG   A beautifully colored Peacock watched us closely as we walked past him…

DSCN2610.JPGTom, the Turkey followed us as walked slowly past his enclosure.. He looked so sad… One thing for sure is that he missed Thanks Giving dinner…. 🙂

DSCN2665 (2).JPGParents kept their children close as they made their way to the next, Bouncy Castle, bike trails just for the little folks.. Large bails of hay lay in patterns that gave children and some adults a place to play on.. A sand box filled with construction toys made a great place to show a child’s skills at loading a dump truck full of dirt.. A corn maze gave families a time to figure out where the way out was.. There were places to jump, run, or just a good old hill to roll down in the cool grass..

DSCN2646 (2).JPG    Smiling faces peered threw cut out holes of hand painted scenes depicting the farm…

DSCN2619 (2).JPG     The faint sound of a train whistle draws your eyes to a packed train heading around a hill with various displays depicting scary, ghouls and haunted towns.. All reminding us that Halloween is getting closer…

DSCN2620 (2).JPG    In the distance I could see someone waving at all that passed by.. On further inspection, it was not a human, but a creature trying to scare us away.. We pushed forward passing by a haunted house that had very load banging going on inside in the pitch black… The sounds of people screaming could un-mistakably be heard as people ran from the darkness and into the light..

DSCN2615 (2).JPG    As we turned the corner behind the Haunted House.. There in front of us were people in cages.. In cages!!!! What was going on and were we the next to be trapped with the other people in the cages.. I stood still watching as the cage doors were opened and the people were set free.. These were the wagons that took us to the pumpkin patch.. I felt more at ease as we loaded up and were on our way.. Slowly we turned a corner, and could see…

DSCN2708 (2).JPG   Horses grazing on blades of green grass.. They did not even seem to see us as we passed by..

DSCN2669 (2).JPG    A line of grave markers towered over the scattered bones of humans that were buried there.. The wolves must have dug them up and licked the bones till they were white…

DSCN2696.JPG    Hidden in the corn rows was a Saloon with men staring at us as we passed them by..

DSCN2675 (2).JPG   A large family entertained themselves, as the cook rustled up a mess of burgers to feed the hungry… The spiders climbed the walls of the shack to escape the heat of the grill.. We bounced along at a slow pace, looking for any other families…

DSCN2700 (2).JPG      We watched as a magic show, being performed for all who came to see the show…

DSCN2694 (2).JPG     A covenant of Witches, cast their spells our way as we sped past them…

DSCN2693.JPG    This fellow in the corn stood watching over us as we got off the wagon… This was the pumpkin patch we had all been waiting to see…

DSCN2705 (2).JPG   A field of pumpkins lay before us as children ran here and there in the hunt for the perfect pumpkin…

DSCN2679 (2).JPG       The hunt for the perfect pumpkin was a daunting task, that made the best of us tired…

DSCN2687 (2).JPG    People started to head back to the wagons to take their harvest home with them.. Cutting that perfect pumpkin was a creative adventure…

DSCN2711 (2).JPG    We stood in amazement at the small town someone had built in the grass.. This is only one of the many buildings placed in the design of an old west town…

We entered a well stocked gift shop and browsed around the many shelves and displays… Heading to our cars dragging our feet, we were done and proud of our pumpkins..

Thanks to everyone who came to read my words this Monday October 21st.. Election day in Canada.. Get out and vote for the future of your world, and leader who cares…

I have decided to write my stories on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for awhile due to over-load.. I will see you Tuesday.. Take care and be kind to others.. Have a wonderful Monday… 🙂 🙂

So cold…

DSCN2446.JPG

I seen this mushroom growing between the patio stone at the front of the house…

www.marionbell.com/so-cold

This is my banter for Friday October 4th…

I wish to let all my readers know that as of October 5th to October 18th… Unfortunately, I will be unable to post my words.. My next post will be on Monday October 21st.. Thank you for your understanding… 🙂 🙂 MAGS..

This is my banter for Friday October 4th…

Hello everyone out there in this big world:: This week has passed by with the speed of a moving train.. The fluctuation of the weather patterns have made being outside almost impossible.. Once this week it was way above seasonal temperatures, and the next it’s so darn cold.. Not only has it been cold but I have heard stories of a faint snow falling… Yikes!! “Why?” It’s not time for that kind of shenanigans… I haven’t harvested all my seeds yet for next spring…There has been a fine mist that has a granular feeling to it, falling from the heavens.. I think that is supposed to be snow.. I hope where we are headed, there are much better conditions.. I really don’t want to pack my long johns, but it maybe smart to do that.. I hope the weather is a little bit nicer where every you may reside.. I wish to send all of you good wishes for the weekend and Thanksgiving.. I hope your turkey is fat and your bellies are full.. I will have turkey, and likely fall asleep… If you have to take a nap… Blame it on the turkey..

DSCN2447.JPG These intriguing shapes are delightful…

I would chance to say that these mushrooms are not of the edible  kind… I still like the shape of the lid of the mushroom.. It’s distortion is amazing.. Bending and weaving as it grows.. The things I find interesting that there are many things happening in the mushrooms growth .. Today, I had a lady come to patch up the ceiling in the kitchen where the old fluorescent light used to be.. I was a bit set back by the contractor being a lady.. I don’t know why!!! I just did.. And when I spoke with her on the phone I was envisioning a lady with large muscles and a big thick neck.. Kind of like the Hulk’s sister.. LOL But, I was way off point.. She was tiny and quite pretty.. She was older, and very friendly… I enjoyed talking with her.. Tomorrow she will return and sand and paint the covered part of the ceiling.. Then no one will ever know the old light was there.. Mission accomplished.. I have to shop tomorrow and that is one of my dreaded tasks.. I nearly have a stroke each time the total shows up.. Food is way too pricey.. I would imagine that most people feel the pull on the wallet when buying the necessities of  life..

DSCN2449.JPG    This is a view from above looking into the top of the mushroom..

Friday is the day that our grandson moves out.. We are going to miss him a lot.. The house will be much quieter, and the meals will be less to prepare.. We have left him with these words.. “You will always be welcomed back here, and the bed upstairs will be made up waiting for your return.” We told him to keep his key and just unlock the door and come in.. We wish him good fortune, and happiness.. We love him very much.. ;(  I know he is going to be fine.. He’s a man now, and can make his own life.. But we will still worry about him, as we do all our grand-children.. 🙂 🙂

DSCN2445.JPG     The water is filling up the mushroom tops..

It’s Thursday night and I have pretty well gone over all I wanted to say and more.. One thing I wish to do is wish my friend Kelly a speedy recovery.. Get well real soon girl.. Take care of those you love and be safe out there… I will see everyone with a bunch of words and photos, once I return… Till later.. Keep on truckin’…

I wish to thank all my readers for being here each day to read my words.. Thanks… 🙂 🙂    Enjoy the photos.. 🙂 🙂

It’s over…

DSCN1950.JPGCame across this stump while at camp this weekend…

www.marionbell.com/its-over

This is my banter for Tuesday September 3rd…

Howdy everyone:: How was your weekend? Mine was great, and the weather was perfect.. The visit to camp was amazing.. My son smoked ribs, and chicken for dinner.. The ribs were fall off the bone good.. All of us kept telling him how good the ribs were.. Both of my son’s are good cooks, and they cook quite often.. With good food and conversation the day passed by way too quickly.. We would have spent more time there, but we needed to get back to the puppies.. I managed to get several photographs while I was there.. Two hundred and two to be exact.. The first photo I posted above caught my eye, and I could not help but find a certain attraction to it.. It’s only a stump of a tree with a web around it, and a curious hole in the stump.. It’s not a big hole but still the hole had me wondering what is inside of the stump.. Was a city of beetles living there, or perhaps a colony of ants had moved in there.. Much to my surprise, I now know what is living in the hole.. If you look closely at the photo you will see what is in there.. It was looking me over as I snapped the photos.. I didn’t see it then, but once I looked at the photo on the screen, I’m glad I didn’t see it.. Take a good look, can you see it.. It kind of creeps me out..

DSCN1962.JPG         Bees do love the nectar from these flowers..

We got to spend some quality time with our new grandson.. He is such a cute little dude, and you can see how much he is loved by his mom and dad.. I believe a lot of the pictures were of him as wiggling around, and making unusual faces.. My hubby got some real good quality time with the baby too.. I think they may have a good start to a good bond between them.. My oldest son had his dogs there with them.. They had a site just a two sites away from his brother.. I spent sometime at his camp and when dinner time was upon us we all spent time at the other son’s site.. Have I got you confused yet?? Well, I feel like I’m getting that way.. ‘You had to be there anyways’.. I took a short walk to see where a set of stairs went.. I must of startled a baby bunny.. He scampered away as fast as he could.. All I could see was this cute little white tail heading away from me.. The stairs just went down to a parking place for visitors, I guess.. Surprisingly the bugs were not an issue.. It must have been too cool for them.. I was happy about that, because there is nothing worse then bugs landing in the food you are trying to eat.. I always have the vision of that bug living in my stomach.. The thought of it makes my skin crawl..

DSCN1953.JPG       This stump with all the textures on it, drew me in..

I just love the uneven cut done to this stump.. The way the fugus has taken it’s place among the peeling bark.. I also love how the stump has a new cluster of leaves that are attempting to grow.. Nature is a wonderous thing.. I hope a lot of people went away this weekend.. If it was anything like the campground we went to, it was busy.. There was a line up to get a visitor’s pass, and the hubby stood in the line for over a half an hour.. The line never went down in size.. In fact the just kept growing with people wanting a camp site.. I would chance to say that all the camp grounds this weekend were busy..  And here we are now starting a new week of work for some and relaxation for others.. It’s the first day back to school.. Children will be dressed in their new duds, with backpacks filled with  school supplies.. Buses will drive them to their schools before the bell rings.. My grandson is starting high school tomorrow and I wish him all the luck on his first day.. 🙂

DSCN1969.JPG      These flowers have such a beautiful color to them…

College students moved into residence this weekend.. Some of them are returning to further their education.. Others, are just new to the college shuffle, and being away from their parents and the safety of home.. Their freedom is a new experience for many.. Their lives will change over the course of the school year.. New beginnings, with new friends, plenty of studying, and partying.. There are no rules.. No time to be in at dark.. No one to set the alarm to wake them up in the morning.. They are  responsible for themselves.. Their education, and their future.. It’s now up to them to control their destany.. Well guys, this chick is getting tired.. so I will be on my way.. Till later.. Keep the right side up..  🙂 🙂

I would like to take this time to thank all my wonderful readers for coming by each day to read my banter.. 🙂 🙂   The photos in my banter are taken by myself.. Enjoy.. 🙂 🙂

Little Prince…

DSCN1689 (2).JPG             I got a visit, from a fuzzy little friend…

www.marionbell.com/little-prince

This is my banter for Wednesday August 28th…

Hello everyone out there:: Well, the rain fell last night, all day, and is expected to rain again on this Tuesday night.. You can tell when it’s too wet outside.. The dogs don’t ask to go out every five minutes.. That’s a true way to know you don’t want to go outside.. I did kick their behinds, and got them to go out anyways.. It was like trying to move a heavy bolder from a field.. So much for me, and the dogs.. I hope you all made it through Tuesday without pulling out your hair.. I really am hoping your time with the family was playful and loving.. I don’t know if you had rain or not, and if you did, I hope you didn’t get too wet.. I sure wish I could send the clouds we have here to Amazon to help put out the Rainforest fires… It’s a shame how Mr. Trump will not give money to help save the Rainforest.. And the two idiots fighting over comments made are just little babies, and should grow up.. The Rainforest is more important them a stupid comment.. French and Brazil presidents need to think of the carnage that is taking the Rainforest away from our planet.. If you got to be so darn petty then have it out in a boxing ring.. You are not children,, grow up.. Trump should do the same damn thing.. And that’s how I see this crap..

DSCN1707 (2).JPG             Hiding behind the peppers…

This segment is dedicated to my Little Prince, Parker.. He came into my life not too many months back.. His Mommy and Daddy take very good care of him, and guide him through his early learning.. I love Parker with all my heart, and will protect him with my own life, if need be.. His smile and his bright eyes, can lure you in, and make you fall in love.. Parker has his poopy times, but doesn’t every body.. He loves his food, and his little Lambie.. He hugs it and tries to eat it, and he wipes his face on his Lambie.. Parker has a thing for cuddly blankets.. He tries to hide behind them, then pops out with a smile or a frown, or a goober gabby (baby talk).. He loves to kick his feet and wiggles like crazy.. He likes watching movies with daddy and mommy.. And when he watches movies he likes to lay down… Parker is a treasure to behold, and has stolen my heart away.. And he’s working on papa’s heart too.. Parker loves to put his hands in his mouth, and will suck on his thumb until mom catches him.. He’s going to be a mover and a shaker.. And his voice will be heard by many in the future.. God help us all when he starts to crawl, and walk.. We got to be on top of our game for sure.. I have picked out a few photo’s I have taken of him.. I hope Parker melts your heart too..

DSCN1379.JPG        Sometimes I like to hang out with papa…

Now you have met my Little Prince, Parker… You take good care of those you love and be safe.. Till later.. Watch out for Pigeons…

Thanks to all my readers for stopping by to read my banter.. 🙂 🙂  As usual the photos in my banter have been taken by Me… 🙂 🙂

Visiting camp..

DSCN1457.JPG   Walking around the camp ground.. This caught my eye..

www.marionbell.com/visiting-camp

This is my banter for Monday August 12th..

This weekend we went to visit the camp site of my son and his beautiful wife.. The day was a little on the chilly side, and I actually had to wear a sweater. Wow, what a change from at home.. It was really good to get away. The site was right next to the road in the camp. There was just enough room for them to park their trailer. The space between two trees and the extended awning was six inches. A tight squeeze for sure. And the awning had to be put in when they wanted to use the fire pit. The next time they camp at this KOA, they know which place to ask for by number. The place is set up really well, with trails to walk on, pools to swim in, horse shoe pits, and a large barn where the young and old can go to watch movies. There are a lot more things and adventures to be had by the many campers who stay there all season, or just drop in for a couple days. I would camp there myself, after all the place is well kept… The people seemed nice and friendly as they drive by in their golf carts. There were a lot of golf carts being used. Even a couple for the clean up crew for the camp Those golf carts had rakes, shovels, brooms, and anything else needed to clean up any mess they found. And this camp did recycling. That’s the first time I have seen that.. KOA camps are famous for the environment, and making sure the forested areas are not ruined.

DSCN1409.JPG        A friendly game of horse shoes was had by the fellas…

Little children rode by on their tricycles, and bicycles. Moms and dads walking behind or riding with the children. Our area had a round about, and the active little ones kept riding past us. A mom had stopped to ask if we had seen the little ones riding by. We gave her the direction they were headed in, and off  she went to catch up to them. The next time we saw the little ones they were on scooters their size. They definitely were not going as fast. I guess maybe mom could keep up to them a lot better that way.. There was one little cute gal that tipped her scooter upside down and was pulling it behind her. She actually had the bunch of us giggling as she went by.. She was so cute and smart.. Like I said the place had a safe feel to it, and was very family oriented. The kind of place where the permanent campers watch out for the children. This way everyone knows the children  are safe…

DSCN1423.JPG        Another interesting area that caught my eye….

We sat talking, laughing, and watching Parker as he made the cutest baby faces.. He really has become a camping baby. He loves being outside, as long as he has a place to kick his feet. Once, he had started to get fussy and I put my tablet on a hook on the stroller, and he laid back watching the movie I had put on for him. I have great photos of him kicking his little feet and touching the tablet with his toes.. I even captured great photos of papa and Parker together.. My grand-daughter and her friend rode their bike all over the place in the camp. They even watched a scary movie in the big barn with other people.. We went for a stroll, and I was not paying too much attention to the people, and more attention to the trees and rocks that hid within the trees.. Everyone was wondering what I saw in the trees. But, I knew what I was looking at, as I click my camera, and captured beautiful photos… I have always been able to find images, and interesting parts nature has hidden away from site.. Over this week I will share some of those photos with all of you..

DSCN1459.JPG      There are many hidden treasures. All you have to do is see them..

We had such a wonderful time, and will be doing the trek to camp on the long weekend in September.. It will only be a visit, but I’m very certain the visit will be fun.. Last time I was at this camp ground was when, I used to bring my children there and they always had fun there.. Till then I will be patiently waiting for that weekend to arrive.. This time maybe we will even stay for the camp fire, and sit staring at the ambers dance and float up towards the stars.. There’s no better way to enjoy a fire, except for roasting marsh mellows over the fire, on the end of a stick.. I find the food tastes better when you are camping.. Maybe it’s all that fresh air you breath in while you are there..

Thank you for joining me, and reading my banter… Till tomorrow… Be safe.. 🙂 🙂

I would like to thank all the great readers I have. I appreciate your coming to visit.. Once again all the photos in this banter are taken by me.. Maggie… 🙂 🙂
