Margo…5

margo 5.jpg              As Margo aged her interests changed…

www.marionbell.com/margo-5

This is my post for Thursday December 19th….

As Margo grew her interests changed.. She had wanted to play the guitar as she sang her songs.. By the age of eight Margo asked for her first guitar.. Dad took her to a well known music store… The owner of the store helped dad pick out the best guitar for Margo to start learning with… Dad also signed Margo up for lessons she would take at home… The owner, one of dad’s old class mates pulled down a guitar that was just right for Margo…. Margo was so super excited to have her first lesson… The lesson would be in a couple days, and Margo could hardly wait… Dad had shown Margo how to hold her guitar and how to strum it lightly… Dad used to play a guitar when he was in school, and he never forgot the basics.. Margo was so happy that her daddy was helping her…. To Margo her daddy knew everything, and he was her hero… As Margo was near her tenth birthday the guitar lessons she took had become almost like a second action for her… She was doing well in her school music class… She was singing with the choir and her voice was sweeter than ever… Margo received a solo part at a competition between area schools… Margo’s voice led the choir to the number one school choir in their area.. Now that they had won this competition they would be up against the winners of the whole province.. This competition was a big one, the prize for winning was a trip to Greece… Margo was determined to make sure their school won this competition for sure…

Margo had written a couple of songs so far… One of her songs was accepted by the choir for the competition… The song was about all the little children in the world… It told a story of sorrow, happiness and the love of others… While the song was being sang by Margo and the choir there was not a noise in the crowd… There were tears of joy mixed with sadness… Even the judges were taken to tears… Margret and William were beaming with pride as the first prize was given to the school choir… Margo had tears of joy, while the whole choir was hugging and laughing with pride… After Margo had written a song with such emotion she had a conviction to write songs from experience, and love… Some of her songs were very popular and could be heard by the local station… Margo would be an up coming star, but not till she was much older.. Mom and dad protected their little lady and encouraged her to write and sing as much as she wanted… They both had dreams of Margo getting her education for her future…

Margo breezed through school, and was soon to graduate from public school… The next school year she would be on her way to high school… Margaret and William had a big pool party planned for all the graduation students and dinner with their parents and family… It was a gift to all the students that they knew so well… On the day of the graduation Margo looked so beautiful as she sang one of her songs to her graduation class and all the parents… Everyone was so proud of her and all the students…. 🙂 🙂

www.marionbell.com/margo-4

This is my story for Wednesday December 18th…

Daddy stopped the car in the drive way behind a bunch of cars… Margo’s eyes lite up like bright shinny stars… Dad took his time getting to Margo’s car door, and he could hear her saying… “Hurry Daddy” Margo repeated a few times… Dad had a smile from side to side on his face… He put his nose on the window and made a piggy nose… Margo was laughing at daddy as he stuck out his tongue, and put his fingers in his ears… Daddy opened the car door, and Margo was out of her car seat… Margo was running at top speed to the front door… Daddy was right behind her and caught her as she tripped on the stair… No scrapped knees this day, daddy said…. The door opened and Nani, and popi were right there to greet Margo… Margo stretched out her arms and popi took her from daddy… Margo grabbed popi around the neck and planted a wet kiss on his cheek… Popi laughed out loud, and Margo could see everyone around her laughing too… Margo tilted her head back and started to laugh as well… She was so cute as she did her pretend laugh… Nani took Margo in her arms hugged her and walked into the living room filled with relatives and cousins… Margo could see people in the backyard too… This party was the first Birthday party with her new mommy and daddy… Nani said, “hello” to all the people in the living room, and Margo waved… She was like a cute little princess… Nani took Margo out in the back yard and there was Abet waiting for her, and a lot of other people… Margo was a little afraid of all the people at her house… Nani held onto her hand and told her not to be afraid… Margo felt a lot better…

Margo was given a party hat to wear, and right away she wanted one that was just like her hat… No one knew that dad had promised to let Abet wear a hat just like Margo’s hat… Dad got a hat just like Margo’s and both of them put a hat on Abet… Mom had a nice lady come to the party and she was there to take pictures of Margo and the other guests… Margo stood right close to Abet with her hand on his back and the lady got a lot of photos of them together… Abet and Margo were together the whole day, and if  Abet felt Margo was in danger he would not let anyone near her… The clown at the party was the number one person Abet and Margo did not like… He was creepy, and daddy didn’t like him either… The clown just kept staring at the little girls and following a few of them around… It disturbed dad so much that he sent him away from the party, and was told NOT to come back… Dad called the agency and reported the clown man… There were a few ponies for rides, games, races, dancing, prizes and ice-cream with cake… Dad got water guns for the children and he told them to squirt the guns at the adults.. It turned out to be the best time the children had all day… The children talked about the water guns the rest of the day…

At the end of the day Margo was as happy as any little girl could have been… She had presents galore… It took along time for mom and dad to help Margo un-wrap all her gifts… Mom would help Margo go through her old toys to give to other children who did not have any toys… The next day mom helped Margo, who was so happy about helping other children be happy with her toys she did not need anymore… Daddy made a big toy box to hold all the toys Margo was given at her birthday… As the evening turned to dark Margo was pretty tired… Mommy bathed her and put on her cozy pyjamas and Margo went to bed… Daddy came up and read Margo a happy story and Margo fell asleep… Abet was sleeping on the mat next to Margo’s bed… This day was only the beginning of the many birthday parties Margo was going to have… Once Margo and mom went through all the toys she didn’t need anymore, they went to the children’s aid and gave the toys to the other children.. Margo gives toys to the children’s aid to this very day… 🙂 🙂

Margo… 3

margo 1.jpg                   Margo was very happy with her new life….

www.marionbell.com/margo-3

This is my story for Tuesday December 17th…

Margo was starting a new life with loving parents, a big house, and a dog named Abet… Margo’s bedroom was not too big… Just big enough for Margo to run and dance around her bed… Her dad had made her a bed that hung from the ceiling of the room… Dad had said that as Margo got bigger he would make the bed higher off the floor… The bed was big so Margo had lots of room to roll around in it… There was a head and foot board, and special rails for each side of the bed so Margo would not fall out.. The bed would swing only a bit, as dad had secured it to the floor… Margo was a big girl with a big bed… There was pink on the walls… One wall was fuzzy, it felt good when Margo ran her fingers through the fuzzy.. Margo would often sit on the floor, reading her books and rest her back on the fuzzy wall… Margo had a house to play dolls in, a big ball to sit on and bounce around the house… The ball looked a lot like a fat pony… Margo gave horsy the name “tubs”… The top cover on her bed was light blue very soft and fuzzy… Her sheets had teddy bears on them, and Margo loved to go to bed… Unlike most little children… She loved when dad or mommy read her a happy story for good dreams…. You could see that Margo had her daddy wrapped around her little finger…

Abet was Margo’s best friend… You could often watch the two of them running around the back yard… Abet would grab ‘tubs’ if Margo fell off… Abet would run away with the horsy once Margo got to her feet… Margo would tackle Abet, and the two of them would lay on the ground and look at the clouds… Margo would tell Abet all about the clouds and how fluffy they were… Abet was a big dog who was only three years old… He had soft hair, a cold nose, and loved to lick Margo’s face a lot… Mommy always said, Abet was giving Margo kisses cause he loved her… It was so true about the two of them and Abet would never let a stranger near Margo… Abet liked to lay on the Livingroom rug as Margo laid down beside him telling him stories… Margo had a great imagination, and Abet was just content watching her talk to him… They were buddies, and great pals… Margo was growing up, and so was Abet.. Margo was turning four and mom was having a party for her… Margo’s grand-parents, aunts and uncles, and some of her cousins were going to be there… Margo was super excited about her party…

Daddy and Margo had gone out to the movies while mom was decorating the yard and house for Margo’s birthday… Margo had a hard time going to sleep the night before her party… Dad had read her two stories, but Margo was so excited that sleep did not come easy… Now she was at the movies with daddy and the party was the furthest thing from her mind… The Disney movie, Little Mermaid was her favorite…. Dad had seen the movie so often that he would sign the songs along with his daughter… Margo never even asked about the party while the movie was playing… But, as soon as the movie ended Margo was asking all kinds of questions about her birthday party.. Margo wanted dad to let Abet wear a party hat just like hers… As far as she was concerned it was Abets  birthday too… Dad assured her that Abet could wear a hat just like hers… Dad drove the long way home, just to give mom, grandma and grandpa time to finish the decorations… Margo drove daddy crazy asking when will we be there?? 🙂 🙂

gran driving red lips (2).jpgMAGS…  Have a great Tuesday when you get to it… 🙂 🙂

What if…3

Multiple babies born….

www.marionbell.com/what-if-3

This is my post for Thursday December 5th…

Things happen all the time, and usually are a pretty big surprise… “What if” Your wife was expecting, triplets… At the last visit to the doctors you were told that all babies where healthy and growing bigger… Okay, you are all prepared for three babies and all your families have been helping with the preparations for the births… As the days go by your wife keeps getting so big that walking is a chore for her…. The doctor says it’s all going well, and puts your wife on bed rest… It’s a week before the date of the births… The doctor books your wife into the hospital, and she is going to be induced the next morning… The nurses are all ready to take each child and take care of them… Kay your wife is brought into the operating room.. Kay will have caesarean births.. You have your armor on and you are sitting talking to your wife… The incision was made, and baby number 1 was a healthy girl… Baby 2 was a boy and baby 3 was a boy… Then the doctor keeps doing birth after birth.. The final baby was another girl.. You are blown away as the operating room becomes a flurry of nurses and doctors milling around.. You now have 7 babies… You give the family the news.. What are you going to do now?? You and Kay live with her parents, and room is what is going to be needed… What if mom and dad what to buy you a house for your new family… Would you want the house close to the relatives?? After all you will need all the help you can get… The births become a big event in your home town and all kinds of things are being given for the babies… The news paper has the big event on the front page.. Many people are ready to help when the babies come home.. Once the babies are at home, the house is filled with many people, and you and Kay can barely have time together… What would you do to have time together alone??? What if:  the family sends you away for a weekend, and Kay doesn’t want to go?? What would you do???

meteor.jpg                   A meteor hitting Earth…

What if: A scientist came on the television to tell the worlds population, that a meteor was heading straight for Earth… Also, the meteor impact is due in seven hours.. Would you try to get as far as you could away from the impact point?? Would you gather everyone you knew and take them with you?? The impact would set off a massive explosion that would be felt all around the world… The possibility of life being wiped off the surface of the planet was a definite… Would there be a safe place to go?? All Questions of what if:  There would be nothing that could be eaten, because of the explosion… Would you know where to look for water to drink?? What if: you came across a bomb shelter?? Would you move in there and hope for the best?? That would be a definite conundrum…. ‘What if’s’, can bring on just about anything, or any surprise… 🙂 🙂  Get ready for that which is out of your control…

gran driving red lips (2).jpgMAGS… Everyone have a great weekend and the days leading up to that weekend…See you all on Tuesday next week.. Be safe  🙂 🙂

Silence…

no noise.png                     In the silence I sit in peace….

www.marionbell.com/silence

This is my post for Wednesday November 20th…

I sit here in the silence that fills this room.. The sound of the furnace chasing away the chill in the room, leaves me with a cozy feeling.. The old furnace has been a faith full companion for the time we have lived here.. Without the furnace I would be cuddled up in layer after layer of clothing and blankets.. The silence here gives me time to think over my actions of the days that have past.. I can hear the settling of the house that surrounds me.. The forever creaking and moaning of it’s timbers.. My mind wonders to many different places during this time of silence.. The surrounding world moves on in it’s rituals of life.. I enjoy the silence as it gives me the time to reflect.. I crave this silence at times, as it is an escape from reality.. The pending thoughts of the day are put at rest in this silent place.. I need not worry, nor think of what’s for dinner… I have time to rest from my rituals of the day.. I am calm and relaxed in these moments, minutes, or even hours.. For, they are my time away..

silence.png                    The voice of silence is one of relaxation…

I tap loudly on the keys of this laptop.. Keys that help me capture the words that fill the spaces in this place.. The noise of barking dogs as voices become louder… Talking over the noise that continues.. The television blaring so loudly that the people outside can share the content they can only envision.. The sounds from outside… A car spinning it’s wheels in the hopes of escaping the grip of the wet snow that surrounds them… The sounds of voices, voices I don not know nor do I wish to know in my silence… The furnace hums on, as the door is left open to the cold.. The voices that surround me as family meet to share my silent place.. The chatter and laughter are like music to my ears… For, only I wish to have those voices fill the spaces in my silent place… The company has left… The dogs no longer bark, and the television is silent.. The dogs lay sleeping in their cozy beds with covers over their heads… Father is asleep, on the sofa surrounded in warm inviting blankets.. I too wish to feel those blankets surround me in comfort, so I may drift away as others have before me.. I look around at all that has been left behind… The mess will be there after I indulge in the warmth of these cozy blankets… The silence is soothing to my rattled nerves… I drift away into a world of sleep and silence..

quiet.png                  Night silence is like no other silence….

This day has drifted into night… The mess has all but disappeared… I am free from the rituals of my day.. I have watched as much television as my brain can handle… I am in search of a place to sleep… A place where my feather filled comforter awaits me.. I climb the stairs to my room, and once there I cuddle under the warmth of this comforter.. The chill will not find me, only the silence of sleep is welcomed here.. I take a deep breath in and feel my body sink into the bed around me.. For, now I am one with this silent place.. As I drift away, my mind has other plans for me… Thoughts crash into my space and fill my head with nagging questions and solutions to problems unsolved.. I roll  to my side in the hopes that the thoughts will not follow.. I turn again as a  flood of unsolved problems roll over me… I resist the calling of those questions and turn once more… I can not escape… Where has my silence gone?? I lay in the darkness letting the thoughts take over my sleep.. This night is long as I do my best to not answer the questions in my mind, and the sights I see when I close my eyes.. Finally, after hours of no sleep the silence comes to rescue me…  I dwell in silence till the morning light finds me tired and unable to face the day… Come again my friend, for you are welcomed… My silence… 🙂

gran driving red lips (2).jpgMAGS… Till Thursday.. Well wishes to all.. 🙂 🙂

It’s over…

DSCN1950.JPGCame across this stump while at camp this weekend…

www.marionbell.com/its-over

This is my banter for Tuesday September 3rd…

Howdy everyone:: How was your weekend? Mine was great, and the weather was perfect.. The visit to camp was amazing.. My son smoked ribs, and chicken for dinner.. The ribs were fall off the bone good.. All of us kept telling him how good the ribs were.. Both of my son’s are good cooks, and they cook quite often.. With good food and conversation the day passed by way too quickly.. We would have spent more time there, but we needed to get back to the puppies.. I managed to get several photographs while I was there.. Two hundred and two to be exact.. The first photo I posted above caught my eye, and I could not help but find a certain attraction to it.. It’s only a stump of a tree with a web around it, and a curious hole in the stump.. It’s not a big hole but still the hole had me wondering what is inside of the stump.. Was a city of beetles living there, or perhaps a colony of ants had moved in there.. Much to my surprise, I now know what is living in the hole.. If you look closely at the photo you will see what is in there.. It was looking me over as I snapped the photos.. I didn’t see it then, but once I looked at the photo on the screen, I’m glad I didn’t see it.. Take a good look, can you see it.. It kind of creeps me out..

DSCN1962.JPG         Bees do love the nectar from these flowers..

We got to spend some quality time with our new grandson.. He is such a cute little dude, and you can see how much he is loved by his mom and dad.. I believe a lot of the pictures were of him as wiggling around, and making unusual faces.. My hubby got some real good quality time with the baby too.. I think they may have a good start to a good bond between them.. My oldest son had his dogs there with them.. They had a site just a two sites away from his brother.. I spent sometime at his camp and when dinner time was upon us we all spent time at the other son’s site.. Have I got you confused yet?? Well, I feel like I’m getting that way.. ‘You had to be there anyways’.. I took a short walk to see where a set of stairs went.. I must of startled a baby bunny.. He scampered away as fast as he could.. All I could see was this cute little white tail heading away from me.. The stairs just went down to a parking place for visitors, I guess.. Surprisingly the bugs were not an issue.. It must have been too cool for them.. I was happy about that, because there is nothing worse then bugs landing in the food you are trying to eat.. I always have the vision of that bug living in my stomach.. The thought of it makes my skin crawl..

DSCN1953.JPG       This stump with all the textures on it, drew me in..

I just love the uneven cut done to this stump.. The way the fugus has taken it’s place among the peeling bark.. I also love how the stump has a new cluster of leaves that are attempting to grow.. Nature is a wonderous thing.. I hope a lot of people went away this weekend.. If it was anything like the campground we went to, it was busy.. There was a line up to get a visitor’s pass, and the hubby stood in the line for over a half an hour.. The line never went down in size.. In fact the just kept growing with people wanting a camp site.. I would chance to say that all the camp grounds this weekend were busy..  And here we are now starting a new week of work for some and relaxation for others.. It’s the first day back to school.. Children will be dressed in their new duds, with backpacks filled with  school supplies.. Buses will drive them to their schools before the bell rings.. My grandson is starting high school tomorrow and I wish him all the luck on his first day.. 🙂

DSCN1969.JPG      These flowers have such a beautiful color to them…

College students moved into residence this weekend.. Some of them are returning to further their education.. Others, are just new to the college shuffle, and being away from their parents and the safety of home.. Their freedom is a new experience for many.. Their lives will change over the course of the school year.. New beginnings, with new friends, plenty of studying, and partying.. There are no rules.. No time to be in at dark.. No one to set the alarm to wake them up in the morning.. They are  responsible for themselves.. Their education, and their future.. It’s now up to them to control their destany.. Well guys, this chick is getting tired.. so I will be on my way.. Till later.. Keep the right side up..  🙂 🙂

I would like to take this time to thank all my wonderful readers for coming by each day to read my banter.. 🙂 🙂   The photos in my banter are taken by myself.. Enjoy.. 🙂 🙂

gran driving red lips (2).jpgMAGS..     Thank you for being here… 🙂 🙂

Great times…

DSCN1539.JPGOne single flower standing on it’s own… Perfection…

www.marionbell.com/great-times

This is my banter for Monday August 19th..

Hello everyone:: How the heck is everyone on this Monday in August.. I would almost bet that all of you had a great time with your families and friends.. The rain fell here a bit on Saturday, and later Friday evening. The grass sure loved the rain, as it seems to have grow since then. The plants are tall and bright colors, and fill our backyard with beauty.. The squirrels are raiding the bird feeder, as they always do. The chipmunk has come out of his hiding to grab a bite to eat.. A noisy Red Cardinal stopped by to pick berries from a tree next door. They are such a beautiful bird, and I would imagine soon I will see mom with their little babies on the back fence.. I see them there quite often, as mom shows them the place to get food.. The babies make their way along the fence like a tight rope walker.. Every once in awhile they loose their balance and stagger to one side of the top board of the fence.. I love sitting and watching them grow stronger, and get their colors.. That is one of the things I wait for each year and they have returned each year and raise a new brood of babies. Same with the Blue Jay, and many other birds..

DSCN1577.JPG        A blend of blue and yellow is bound to brighten up any spot….

This weekend brought the Finches into the backyard.. They are so tiny and beautiful.. With their bright yellow and black plumage.. They flit through the air as if they had hitched a ride on the tail of the wind.. We are all so fortunate to behold such beauty around us.. It’s almost, as if you blink you will miss something extra special.. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.. I love to watch the animals with my camera by my side. I try to capture those special moments forever as proof to my memory.. For, in the winter I can gaze back on the beauty in pictures.. Friday night, I made potato salad, and deviled eggs for the dinner on Saturday.. This way I was not burdened by the preparation of those items.. Friday was a nice day to spend sitting on the porch, and watching the world go by.. We had been talking about renting a camper and going camping for a week.. I began going through the internet trying to find a place not too far away.. I found one and it is with-in the one hundred miles I reserved for travel.. The place is quaint, and family oriented.. We drove there on Friday afternoon and booked a few days stay.. Now all we have to do is wait for the time to come around.. Personally, I can’t wait.. :0 :0

DSCN1584.JPG        Inviting falls to cool off in, or just to sit and be in love…

Saturday came early as there was still a lot to do before company came.. The steaks had to come out of the freezer, and the chicken was in the fridge, ready to go on the barbeque.. I drank my tea, and while I did that my daughter called and asked I they could come to the house earlier then mentioned.. ‘Of course I said yes.’ Their time of arrival was to be an hour and a half.. I jumped to my feet and made my way up stairs to get dressed for the day.. Vacuuming was the first thing on my list. Finished that, and got help with the bathrooms.. The dog needed to be washed, and I tried my best to get my hubby to take her to the spa.. The pet store near us has a spa area. There you can wash your dog, and they supply shampoos, conditioners, and good smelling sense for your dog..  They also give you towels, doog hair blowers, and it all costs only ten dollars.. A very good deal and easier on the back then, the bath tub.. He was reluctant to go, but after he was there he realized how much easier the work was using the spa.. I filled my time with the cleaning I still had to do.. The dog smelled fantastic and we were ready for company..

buzzy beeOne of life’s wonders, and a big part of pollination..

Turns out the hour and a half turned into about three hours.. My daughter and Shawn were riding a motor cycle, and ran into very wet weather.. They needed to stop at a Walmart and purchase new clothing and whatever they could find in the line of weather protection.. My daughter still had wet socks, and one wet boot when yhey arrived.. Shawn had a wet tee shirt, and a soaking wet helmet on the inside.. It wasn’t a good ride for them, as it was pretty chilly.  At least they arrived here safe and sound.. We talked and they relaxed in the warmth of the inside.. If anyone has been caught in the rain on a motor cycle, you will understand how uncomfortable and dangerous it is on the roads.. It was getting time to put the chicken into the barbeque. The time went by quite fast, as we neared the time for the other guests to show up. Once the rest of the guests arrived it was time to start cooking the steaks.. While I was doing the cooking, a cloud opened up and got me a bit wet. But, not enough for me to quit cooking the steaks. We set the table and everyone got a seat, and dinner was served.. I got a good review for the steaks, and how perfectly they had been cooked.. That made me feel pretty good, as I milling around making sure everyone was doing fine.. The baby was being a bit cranky, and he was hungry too. Mom gave him his bottle and he fell fast asleep.. After desert everyone talked and joked about pretty much everything.. You know, I love seeing my children, and am very proud of  the fantastic people they are today..

I just love it when a good day, and good company gather in a place of love and happiness.. I love all of you, and am proud to have you as my children..  🙂 🙂

I would like to take this time to thank all my readers, for being here to read my banter.. 🙂 🙂  Seems like I took the photos in this banter, as I have a few times.. Enjoy.. 🙂 🙂

gran driving red lips (2).jpgMAGS..   Thank you for being  who you are today.. 🙂 🙂

Relaxing…

DSCN1470.JPG          I love the textures, and colors….

www.marionbell.com/relaxing

This is my banter for Wednesday August 14th..

Hello everyone:: Today has pretty much been a day of relaxing.. Doing the little things I enjoy, and catching up on whatever I have let lag behind.. I have plenty of art pieces that someday I am going to finish off. I have one piece of art that I started on in 2002.. I found the sketch I had done, and figured it was time to bring it to life with pastels. This is my first time for oil pastels. I actually enjoyed doing the color transformation. Once that was done my hubby cut pieces of base board wood and I created a picture frame. Because the sketch has the red mountains in it, I took crushed pieces of colored stone, and attached them around on the frame.. I wanted to bring the earthy feel into the frame.. I think it turned out not too bad.. I like it..

IMG_E5197              And so… This is what I came up with.. Finished…

I never seem to do the ordinary.. I always come up with what my mind sees. As you can tell by my photographs, I see what others do not see.. I have a painting I did around the same time as I did the sketch you see here.. I did it in acrylic paints, which are easier to use.. At least that is what I think..

IMG_E5199.JPG          This is the acrylic I had done back in 2002…

This is my hubbies favorite painting… I do other forms of creating.. When I’m relaxing I create my best… All are one of a kinds, and none two are the same.. I enjoy taking photos, creating sculptures, painting, I even created a few Halloween creatures.. There are no limits to what I can achieve.. Today was very hot again. The sun was a little too much for a few plants. First thing I needed to give the droopy plants a drink of water.. It amazes me how plants can bounce back once water has been added… We have a lot of water plants that need constant water to live.. There is no neglecting them, as they will be dead in to time.. I also took a few plants and pruned them and took out all the dead flowers, and old branches.  They look one hundred percent better now.. It’s hard to keep them healthy at least during this time of the year..

DSCN1458.JPG                  Now, this looks like a pretty nice place to relax….

I did not stress over dinner today. Fries, and sausage on a bun was easy and tasted good too.. Simple eats can fill the tummy just like a full course meal.. Sometimes cooking becomes a chore that I would prefer not do some days.. I get all stressed out thinking about what to make.. Don’t miss understand me, I love cooking, but day after day is so hum drum. I feel like a robot that just repeats what has  been done a million times.. This Saturday I will be cooking for our family barbeque.. Now that I am looking forward to, and my menu has been set in stone.. I love to see people enjoy the food I create.. It will be fun to have most of the family together at the table..

DSCN1451.JPG            A nice bike ride through the camp ground…

As the day drifted away, the air became cool and bearable. So cool that sitting out on the deck was quite relaxing.. Once the sun has slipped behind the trees. The sun casts long shadow across the yard. I like that time of the day. It’s so calming. Sitting on the deck watching all kinds of people walking by. Dogs on leashes, and children complaining while asking. ‘How much further?’ You would almost they are going to die, by the performance they give their parents.. I see a lot of ladies walking and talking loudly on their cell phones. I would think, loud talking would be somewhat of a security blanket.. Away to deter those who prey on ladies who are alone in the dark.. You can hear them approach, then disappear into the darkness. I love the little children who play with no re-guard for others.. They run like lightening, and say hi to everyone.. Oh to be a child again.. I often wonder how many people would change the life, as they have it right now. And want to get a chance for a new course and direction.. This way your future would not be as it is.. Oh to be young again.. My body would not hurt anymore..

I must be on my way.. I hope to see all of you on Wednesday, as it is a new start for all of us.. Till later.. Stand tall and don’t take any unnecessary crap.. 🙂 🙂

I would like to thank all the readers who take the time out of their busy day to read my banter.. 🙂 🙂 As usual all the photos, and works of art are done by ME:: Maggie.. 🙂 🙂

gran driving red lips (2).jpgMAGS..  Thank you for your company… 🙂 🙂

This is my banter for August 8th.

Today was the kind of day for visiting and driving the car.. I don’t go out much, but today was my trip to see Parker my grand-baby and his mom.. Parker is growing like a weed. And he’s only three months, today.. I arrived just as he finished his bottle. He looked pretty sleepy. I interrupted  his nap time. He managed to smile, and talk a bit to nana.. While I was visiting, their dog was acting very strange. She was really clingy for some reason. Turns out she is like a barometer. When a storm is coming, she wants to be very close to you.. And that she was. She does not like storms with thunder, and really has problems during the storm. The funny thing is, the weather man is calling for a storm coming our way tomorrow. I will be ready for the storm… Thanks to the dog and the weather man. While I was visiting I seen the funniest thing ever. There was a talk show on about male stripers. The male host wanted to learn a few moves from the guys. He came on stage with the stripers for his lesson. The first lesson was the tearing the shirt off. That went well as he pranced out in front of the stripers with his chest pushed out. The next lesson was doing the tear away pants. He pulled the tabs on the pants and they only came off half way. He was pulling and pulling at them, but could not get them off. Finally one the ladies pulled the pants off while he was laying on the floor. He had pale green boxer shorts under the pants. The two co-hosts were killing themselves laughing as he pranced across the stage.. You had to be there.. Honestly.. And to top it all, the host looked like a peanut next to the other stripers.

The host was a real good sport about the whole ordeal.. Time passed by pretty darn quick, and it was time for me to get moving along. With hugs and kisses taken care of, I was off down the road. The traffic was pretty busy on the roads. I was on my way to Costco. I sat at several sets of lights before I entered the parking lot of Costco. If I metered how busy it was going to be inside by the amount of cars on the outside, this was going to fun.. I’m not a crowds person. I get way too tired after being in one for a bit of time. And I mean a bit… I found a handy cap spot, after only once around the parking lot. That’s pretty darn lucky. I usually have to park quite far away from Costco. I armed myself with the short list of items I needed to pick up. Got a cart, and there in front of me was a very packed store. Moms and children, dads with children, the older set of folks, the cart racers, and the aisle dwellers.. These shoppers come in every shape you can imagine. The basket ball shopper, the short shoppers, the digging shoppers (the ones that leave the table a total mess of the nicely stacked clothing, because the top on the bottom of the pile might be better than the top one) It’s true there out there.. I make my way to my first item, and there was an aisle dweller. I negotiated my cart past the dwellers as soon as I had a clear way.

I needed to my next thing on the list.. I cut a path behind all the busy shoppers, and went where the freezers were. I was making good time. Buns, in the cart and off I went. Next, pork chops. That took a few minutes as I picked through the top packages. Found a good one and under twenty bucks. I zigged and zagged through the traffic, to the potatoes. I looked over the bag, then sniffed it for any bad potatoes. The only thing I could smell was good clean earth. Next, crackers.. This was a little harder and took more time than I wanted it too. Finally I found them in the middle of the aisle, got it, and off to the next item.. Fruit and that was in plain sight.. I did good all items in cart. Now to the check out.. Every check out was backed up.. I stood patiently as a lady beside was doing the Zumba while she waited. It took fifteen minutes till I reach the cashier. With in a minute or two I was out of there and heading to my car.. On my way to the car I could hear someone honking their horn, and not just once or twice. I turned my head to see a lady in a white car blocking a lady in who needed to get out. This lady in the white car, was the worst picture of inconsiderate that I have ever seen. She would not move for the lady who wanted out. Two people let her know the lady wanted out, and had to leave. But, nope.. She would not move for her. The lady in the white car did move ahead to let another lady out. That car was right beside the one she still had blocked in.. Go figure, what was wrong with that woman!  Then she backs right in beside the lady she had been blocking. The lady in the white car got out of her car and hurried into the store. By the time I left the lady who was blocked in was waiting for her confiner to come out from the store. Exciting day.. Wow! Some people can be so rude..

cars passing.gif    Traffic on the roads..

The high way looked more like a race way. There were car darting in and out between cars. I picked a lane on the road and stuck to it all the way home…. I safely made a soft landing in my drive way. And so, my adventure was over for this week. Till we meet again… Be safe.. 🙂 🙂

I would like to thank all my readers for coming round to read my banter… 🙂 🙂  I want to thank all the wonder artist whos creations adorn my banter, Thanks… 🙂 🙂
