This is my banter for Friday September 6th…

Hello everyone:: Thursday went way to fast.. I hope your Thursday was an acceptable one.. We have come even closer to the weekend and a break from the money making hustle.. Driving down busy streets or highways is an endless journey many people take each day.. The countless hours lost with family.. The all mighty dollar calls all of us.. It shapes what we are and how we live.. Our habits, and our needs.. Sometimes it makes us who we are.. Our future evolves around money making.. We are slaves of the corporations that pay us that all mighty dollar.. We march to the beat of their drum.. It’s an endless march that is broken when the weekend comes.. Then we are independent operators of our lives.. We do what we want and when we want to.. For two or three days we are in charge.. Then after that brief escape we are poisoners again.. I thank god for the time we get to breath and relax.. So take in that deep breath and enjoy your weekends..

van - Copy.jpg                           On an adventure…

I will be on such an adventure for the next ten days.. I will not be posting any banter, from Saturday September 7th until the day of  Tuesday September 17th.. There will be no internet where we are going.. Hence, the lack of banter being posted.. There will be peace and quiet.. Away from the rate race, and city life.. We will be able to gaze at the stars in the sky in pitch darkness.. The only light we will have is the fire or lantern light.. We will be able to hike to the top of the mountains.. Look down upon the beauty below us.. We will hear the call of the wild.. The screech of the hawks, and the coo of the owls.. Birds will be singing.. The cicada will buzz as I lays it’s eggs in the trees.. We will hear the crickets sing, and tree frogs calling to each other.. We will hear the buzzing of the bees.. I will smell the fish in the waters before me.. We will hear the crunching of the branches as a deer walks past.. We will swim in the cool waters of a lake.. We can walk down abandoned railway tracks that lead us into the fog.. We shall walk through the forest haze.. We will see the shadows that follow us there..

We will feast on food that has been cooked over an open fire.. We will dance around the fire as many have before us.. I will feel the cool breezes caressing my face as my mind wonders into the light of the fire.. I will watch as the fire flies dance in the night.. I will feel freedom from that which is left behind.. I will visit places I have never seen, and talk to people I do not know.. I will be here where I have wanted to be for so long.. I will carry my camera by my side and capture the beauty I see with my eyes.. I can share that which I see with everyone I know.. I will gather memories to keep for all time.. To look back on the past, and feel calm inside.. For I will be there once again..

I hope everyone has a great weekend and a good week coming up.. I am looking forward to the adventure that we are embarking on.. The time away is going feel like a renewal of my former self.. Go find your adventure, and rejuvenate yourself.. You’ll love the journey.. Till I return in ten days.. I wish everyone hope, love and peace.. This gal has got to get moving… Take care of yourselves and your loved ones.. Be safe when you travel and enjoy each day.. Till later.. Keep the shiny side up… 🙂 🙂 🙂 :0

I would like to thank all my readers for being here each day.. Thanks.. 🙂 🙂   I would like to thank all the fantastic artists for their creations in this banter.. Enjoy  🙂 🙂

Weather change…

DSCN1742 (2).JPG             Bright colors to compliment a beautiful day…

www.marionbell.com/weather-change

This is my banter for Tuesday August 27th…

Hi everyone:: How’s everything going? It’s been reasonable here. Today the weather has been the best, and very comfortable if you want to spend time outside.. How has the weather been where you live?? I hope it has been pleasant like it was here.. Our weather man has thrown a curve into the whole weather forecast… He had predicted good weather for this whole week.. Well, this evening (Monday) the forecast has all changed.. It does not look good either.. It looks like we are looking at rain falls at 80% and 90%.. So, I guess Tuesday will be wet and very soggy day.. It’s a day for rubber boots and rain coats.. I just had a vision of a child with a yellow rain coat  a hat and big yellow rubber boots.. It’s actually very cute.. The boy is with his puppy. They are staring down at the puddle they are standing in.. The little boy starts to jump up and down in the puddle, as the puppy rolls in the water.. The kind of sight that can make you smile and chuckle.. It gives us a glimpse at our childhood times of the past.. It also dragged me away from the sadness of a day of rain.. Well, I enjoyed that little walk away from the negative.. I know, the rain is good for the plants, and the water table.. But, come on it’s nearing the end of summer.. All I want is nice going outside weather.. ‘Please’..

DSCN1701.JPG           Beautiful yellow flowers.. Can you tell I like yellow flowers..

I know it’s going to be the pits Tuesday, so I will have to figure out some interesting project I can do during the day.. I have plenty of those little cleaning chores to do, but Monday was cleaning day.. I can’t do cleaning chores both days.. That will be out of  character for me, and anyways I just don’t want to do it.. ‘So there’.. I could do a craft that has likely been lingering around here somewhere.. I could have a home foot spa treatment, that will leave my feet feeling rejuvenated and silky smooth.. ‘Hm’.. That seem like the number one contender for Tuesday.. ‘A little pampering never hurt anyone, even if you are doing it yourself.. I am presently doing the laundry.. So that is out of the equation.. I could eat junk food till I durst.. ‘Na, then I would just have to clean that all up’.. I could chase the dogs around the house with the vacuum.. ‘That sounds like lots of fun for me, but not so much for the dogs.. ‘Hey, I should be able to bug them as they always bug me’.. ‘What should I do?’  I’m very sure, that no matter what it is I choose it will be fun.. I hope you all can find something to do on rainy days, besides watching television.. Reading a book sounds like a good way to pass the time. I would likely fall asleep, and get a nap… Naps are made for lazy do nothing days.. I don’t usually nap unless I am not feeling all that well.. Then the nap is warranted in that case without feeling guilty.. My hubby usually has several naps while sitting up.. He always says he is looking through his eye lids.. ‘Sure.’  ‘I ain’t going to fall for that one anytime soon..

yellow and black.jpg            This beauty, was a big surprise that I found in my box garden..

Don’t you just love it when you find a treasure like this plant.. I was blown away by the way it looks so much like a Black Eyed Susan.. The leaves a different, and the fine hairs are so prominent.. It’s a master piece of nature.. I will have to save seeds from this one flower and plant them next spring.. I am a flower nut, and find much joy in having such beautiful gardens that my hubby and I work so hard on.. When it comes to this time of the season the flowers loose some of their beauty.. It is nearing the time to prune them back and prepare them for the colder months.. I maybe getting a head of myself, but I can see the weather change showing on a few of the plants.. I have one other picture that I took while visiting with my son and his wife at camp.. The photo is truly breath taking.. I was drawn to this flower, and the way it was situated if front of a tree.. The setting was perfect.. I hope you all enjoy this last photo for Tuesday’s banter…

This is a true sign of natures wonder…

I leave you tonight with this photo to gaze upon.. I love the colors, and the place where the plant is growing.. Take care of those you love, and be safe out there in this beautiful world.. Till later.. Enjoy life to it’s fullest..

I would like to thank all my readers for the time you take from your busy day to read my banter.. 🙂 🙂    The photos you see in my banter are taken by myself.. Hope you enjoy them.. 🙂 🙂

Long weekend..

DSCN1258.JPG            In my garden grows…..

www.marionbell.com/long-weekend

Hello everyone.. I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend. The weather here was very hot during the day and cooler in the evenings. Nights like this always make sleeping a little more enjoyable. In my little corner of the universe, we had a gathering of artisans selling their wares. A Festival, that falls on the first long weekend of August. The walkway along the lake, was packed with people, everyday during the long weekend. There are lots of artists that flock to this area, just for the chance to explore the works of others. Or, to have their talents recognized by other artists. There were countless people looking for just that one item that would add a special touch to their surroundings. For those on the hunt for food, there was plenty to eat, beer to drink, and even a few ice-cream venders. I think they used to be called them the Dickie-Dee. These were carts that stood stable in one area. Heck, you could even find the right size of hot tub, or Infinity pool to install in your back yard. You could even put it in your house, for year round fun and exercise. That sounds like a very good deal.. Just think, splashing around in a nice warm pool, while you watch the snow fall outside. ‘What a way to live…’  You could add a new barbeque to the list of summer items you desire. One with three cooking grills, or one that could be used as an entire part of an outdoors kitchen design. The uses and designs are endless…

DSCN1233.JPG Two baby Robins waiting for mom or dad to return with food for them…

As we moved along the walking path, we can upon a carnival set up with rides for the young and the old. Carnival games that required no skill to win. Then, there are other games that take a lot of talent to win, or just a big pocket of money to buy that one stuff toy for a loved one.. Cotton candy, caramel popcorn, candied apples, hot dogs, fries, burgers, and ice-cream by the buckets. Frozen treats to cool you down, and coffee just to give you that little kick you needed to continue on your way. The screams of excited children, as the rides tossed them from side to side, and up and down. The sounds of the carnival ringing in your ears, as music played loudly. So loud that it made me think that there was a contest going on for the loudest noise…. Parents taking pictures of children franticly waving from a ride that will likely scar them to death. Parent patiently standing still, watching, and waiting till the ride stops. The endless trek to the next ride, then wait all over again… ‘Oh, the fun of the carnival.’ The memories playing in your head of your youth, and how you want to run away with the carnival.. The time you barfed on Peggy-Sue, and how mad she was that day on the whirl-around.. What away to find out spinning was not your thing.

DSCN1265.JPG      Fading with time, while new blooms wait to appear…..

The lake filled with parents and children of all ages.. The shade of the trees, where lovers sit and play with their cell phones. ‘Oh, where did love go.’ Picnics on the grass by the lake. The smell of hot dogs, fried chicken, or maybe even take out.. The life guard perched high on a chair, above those seeking the cool of the water.. Little children running away from the small waves the lap upon the shore. Standing still in the water, watching the little fish nibble at your toes… The fun and beauty of a summers day by the lake. Softer music can be heard from the voice of a song bird, as she sings her tune to the people watching in the crowd. Groups on the stage, belting out the tunes, as people dance to the beat. The sounds of a summer festival.. We are now in August, and summer is slipping slowly away. The stores are stocked with back-to-school items. No more summer clothing can be found, as the clothes have been carefully packed away. The sounds of parents and unhappy children shopping in the stores. Parents on edge, as young Johnny decides to run away from them. There he is playing in the toy section of the store. Soon winter clothes, boots and coats will fill the hangers, where summer clothing once hung. Stop rushing the winter retailers. It’s too darn depressing to even think of, at least for me.

To all those, that go to any-kind of festival, carnival, picnic by the lake, or family outing. I wish you all fun and safe journeys.. See you later…. 🙂 🙂

I wish to thank all of my followers, readers, or visitor for being so patient this last week while I was off.. Thank you… 🙂 🙂 As usual the photos in this banter have been taken by myself.. Maggie.. Hope you enjoy.. 🙂 🙂

This past week was rough at times, and still the head aches leave me unable to function. But, I press on and try to not let them stop me. If the weather is to blame, I wish it would stop bothering me. I do feel better than before, but not quite totally healthy. I choose not to go to the doctor as they tend to be quacks, who have no idea what they are doing. I have learned techniques to put my pain at bay. It helps the bad pain disappear. The lingering pain is a pain in the butt, but I will settle for that…. Till later… I wish you all well.. And be safe out there…:) 🙂
