This is may banter for Thursday September 26th…

Hello everyone:: I trust your Wednesday was pleasant, and uneventful.. Mine has been about the same as yours in everyway… Not too much going on other than the gustiness of  wind outside.. I think if I was any lighter than I was now, I would likely take off in the wind… “Oh, look at me I can fly”… I’d be like Mary Poppins.. One thing about the wind blowing so hard, is that the trees will be minus a few leaves.. There is a Maple tree outside our fence that has bright red leaves on it as well as dark green ones.. I hope all the leaves don’t turn color before our holiday.. I’m sure there maybe a few leaves left on the trees.. After all our holiday is only a week and a half away.. I know it will be cool and damp, but neither of us care.. There’s lots to do.. Walking the dogs will be one of them, and exploring… The exploring is something that intrigues me.. There are so many places and things to do around where you are visiting or camping out… I know when most people go camping, you camp.. The trailer we first stayed in was moved to a new spot in the park.. That means new views from the windows, and different photos.. I’m getting excited already…

DSCN2419.JPG           This is some of the inside of the Shasta Trailer….

I am showing some trailers we had the honor of seeing at a Vintage trailer show at a camp grounds.. I had seen the event listed on my face book events calendar.. It was actually an adventure in itself to find the place.. We asked a lot of different places if they knew where to camp ground was?? “I don’t mean just a couple people, but almost six people”… We even went into a camp ground or two to see if they knew.. All that was shown was a round sign at the end of a road.. We turned into the lane… The road looked like we were heading into an old farm.. All we could see was a dirt road and a new building in the distance.. There was even an old barn with it’s doors open wide.. “Okay, we are down on the farm now”.. We could see a nice big pool beside the new building.. There also was a large trailer parked close to the building that was for sale… We followed a dirt road, and there were trailers on nicely placed lots with full services.. The place was really beautiful with the tall trees… We seen a tractor that was clearing more lots for campers.. We drove around, only to be stopped by the man on the tractor.. We asked him about the show.. Low a behold we were a day ahead of the show.. So we followed the dirt road back out to the road we came in on..

DSCN2413.JPG            This is a Air Stream trailer we saw…

This trailer was really beautiful inside, and the man who did the reno on this trailer was very proud of his work.. He had a right to be proud… I found the inside of the trailer had too much metal for my taste.. But, that is my taste and I find the warmth of softer materials, used in a reno, very inviting.. I can see the glamour of the Air Stream that attracts people.. It’s a sturdy well built trailer.. It’s water proof design is well boasted amongst R.V. followers.. I will be enclosing at least one inside photo of the featured trailer each day.. This will likely be featured over the next couple weeks.. I like the style and durability of older trailers.. A lot of the trailers I happened to see were still owned by the couple that purchased them when they were new.. Grant you some people found these trailers, and did great renos of those trailers…

DSCN2409.JPG       This is a photo of the kitchen inside of the Air Stream trailer..

This kitchen stands well above any of the kitchens I have seen in any of the trailers I visited that day.. Like I said, the man who is the owner of this Air Stream did a beautiful job.. I hope that all of you enjoy our journey through exploring vintage trailers at the trailer show.. Well, I am on the run.. Take care and be safe out there.. Till later.. Have  great Thursday… 🙂 🙂

Thank you to all my readers for reading my words each day.. 🙂 🙂  Enjoy my photographs in this banter.. 🙂 🙂
